Our story

Zaxy is a footwear brand from the heart of Brazil, created by Grendene – the largest shoe manufacturer in Latin America, present in the market since 1971. The brand was launched in 2008 in response to the growing demand for fashionable, casual footwear for women who want to look great without sacrificing comfort.

ZAXY is the younger, more affordable sister of the iconic brand Melissa. It is defined by its feminine, casual style suitable for any occasion – from a stroll through the city to beach relaxation.

What sets us apart?

Zaxy shoes are made from a proprietary material called Melflex – a specially formulated blend of PVC that is flexible, durable, and pleasant to the touch. Each pair is free from harmful phthalates and features a distinctive subtle vanilla scent that has become the brand's signature.

Ecology

Zaxy footwear is made from 100% recyclable materials. Grendene has implemented water recovery systems and energy efficiency programs in its factories,Zaxy, focusing on minimizing the production's impact on the environment.
